Emigration Assistance Fund

Assisted Emigration Services seeks donations to establish a monetary fund that pays for the emigrant's legal expense in obtaining a passport, visa, airline ticket, housing, food needs for six months, jobs and/or retraining to become employable in the foreign job market.

The loan fund works in one of three ways depending upon the assets of the individual applicant.

1)     If an individual owns property, then the loan is collateralized against the property. Since foreclosing may be impossible, the contract would read that the individual sells the property with the right to redeem within a set period of time. An appraiser sets the value of the property. They would receive ten percent upon signing, 40% when it is recorded in Tabu under the new owner's name and the other 50% after the owner builds on that property. If the 10% is enough to subsidize that family's immigration, the balance of the collateral can be used to subsidize other families. The seller and the additional families receives the loan from the fund, but the repayment by the additional families will be to the seller.

2)       Individuals or families that have no assets either here or abroad, may have relatives abroad collateralize their houses. We would use the collateral to obtain bank loans in the name of the emigrant. The emigrant would pay back the bank as he becomes self-sufficient. If certain Arabs are selling their homes or land to Jews, they could sell it to these relatives abroad, who would then sell it to the Jews.

Individuals or families who do not own property.

a)       If they have the capital, then it would be a simple fee for service cash transaction.
